Nick's First Field Trip

Nick's preschool class went to Westview Orchards last week. It's such a cool place for kids to run around. Lots of things to climb and play on, a full petting zoo with bunnies, ponies, sheep, and the most adorable baby goats you've ever seen. And there are, of course, apples, cider and cinnamon doughnuts. It was a fun day. The kids were tuckered out after 3 hours there!
This sign appears to suggest that Nathan is good for eating, salads, pies and sauce. I would agree, as I nibble on him often. However, the sign actually said Jonathan apples. I didn't realize til after the fact that it clipped it down to his name.
Riding out to the orchards on a tractor-pulled wagon.

This straw mountain was amazing. The kids loved it. There was actually a sign next to it that said, "No smoking" and another that said, "If you're allergic to hay or straw or if you have asthma, you may want to avoid straw mountain." I found that funny.

What a fun place!!!! Glad that Nick and Nate got to go! What are you going to do with your apples?
