Nicholas got to spend a lot of time playing at the beach.
Daddy had an awful lot of fun playing with Nick, too.
He especially enjoyed the sand. Knocking over sand towers was great fun!
He also thought it was cool how the waves would come up over his feet and then wash away. He would anticipate them and then say, "Oooh!"
The water front at Lake Leelanau is just beautiful. Plenty of space to boat, fish, sunbath, play, etc!

Julie, it sounds like you guys had an excellent, relaxing, and just enjoyable time! The beach pictures of Nick are adorable. What fun to feel the waves come and go.
