Lake Leelanau, 2010

We had a great time at Fountain Point, Lake Leelanau. It was our fourth year going and Nick really enjoyed himself. He just ran from dawn til dusk, with the occasional cat nap. He got to go in a motor boat and watch me go tubing. He tried to catch fish with his net, and went paddle boating with dad. After a few days, he was dog tired! Nathan had fun on the beach, too. As usual, the Hirschfield family were great hosts. Can't wait til next year.

Some Family

We've recently spent time with family that we don't see very often. At Don and Connie's house, Nick enjoyed watching the geese off the deck.

Lizzie and Emily read books to Nick.

Yuck!

Nathan is still not a fan of solids. He makes this face when I try to get him to eat almost anything. He usually will hold his lips as tightly closed as he can, (even if he's smiling) so that I can't squeeze the spoon in there.

Big Boy Bed

We converted Nick's bed from a toddler bed to a full size bed. It looks huge and he looks so small in it. He loves it, though. So far, he sleeps great in it!

Eight Months Old

Nick is really getting into playing with stuffed animals and pillows and blankets. He has so much fun creating "beds" for himself and Nathan to share.

Dirt Date

We enjoyed a play date today with our cousins, Hannah & Ally, and buddies Addison & Grayson.

Grayson and Nick covered each other in sand.

The girls enjoyed getting into the mud, too.

Except Ally, who stayed clean as a whistle.
