Daddy's Hat

Frosty

Over a foot of snow is good for something, after all! Frosty melted the day after Christmas, but he'll be back next year!

Christmas Eve

Nicholas helped to decorate!

We decorated cookies as favors!
Waiting for company to arrive...

Snuggling in for some Christmas Movies with Great Grandma Carrier, Grandma and Grandpa Carrier, and Great Aunt Carol.

Nick and His Animal Friends

Just trying to hug them all at once.

Not sure exactly what he's looking for here....

Christmas at Uncle Tom's House

Nick got lots of kisses from Uncle Tom's dog, Spot.
Nick had a blast playing with his cousins at Uncle Tom's house up north. He just adores Adam.

Adam is a great helper - he has lots of practice because he has two little brothers

Maddy, Andrew and Aaron made funny faces for the camera.

Aaron and Andrew enjoyed some chocolate fudge.

Who Says You Can't Teach an Old Dog New Tricks?!

Nicholas used his Jelly Belly jelly beans to "train" Dog.

Yay! Success!

Dozing After My Bath

I've got clean hair, relatively clean ears, I smell like mangos and my skin is super soft. Time for a nap.

Waiting

Nick was dressed up and ready to go to our friends, the Rolles, for dinner. He looked like such a little gentleman.

Dog

Nick has lots of stuffed animals, but he's never really attached to one more than the other and he doesn't really play with them too much yet. Today Grandma and Grandpa Carrier gave him this little dog and he LOVES it. He snuggles it up to his face and he took it to bed with him at naptime today.

Snow & Sled

I can't move in this snowsuit.

Daddy can move pretty fast in the snow.

So much fun!

Scared!

This is a picture of Nick with Santa last year. Note the look of absolute terror in his eyes. We were hoping that he would outgrow it by this year, but I'm not too optomistic about the photo op, since every time we walk past a statue of Santa in a store or in our house he exhibits a similar look, accompanied by a series of whimpers.

Our Christmas Tree

We have a traditional tree, with no particular theme. We think its pretty. Nick has been a pretty good boy, too, and has so far contributed to the tree only by trying to add decorations of cookies, toy animals and Dora the Explorer Crazy Eight Cards.

Nothing in Particular - Just Pics of my Baby Boy.

Christmas With The Wager Family

This is my oldest brother, Hazen's family. His three kids are all grown up and he now has five grandsons!

Nick got to play with his cousins. Laya was a great block builder. Nick was great at knocking them down.
Aunt Lisa brought Christmas stickers for all the kiddos to make pictures. Miss Betty was a great helper!

My First Christmas

I'm the little one in the back row. I think my brother, Tim, (green overalls in the front row) looks a bit like Nicky.

Uh - What Ya Got There, Dad?

It's getting harder to hide our treats from Nick. He's a lot smarter these days, and he's onto us like mold on cheese. Turns out, he has a sweet tooth. Who would have thought? Ice cream is one of his favorites, just like Mommy and Daddy.

My Family

I've been scanning my dad's old photos to digital format and I just love all the baby pictures I'm finding. Shown here, from youngest to oldest, are me and my sisters and brothers and Mom and Dad.

Legos

Nick really gets into a zone when he's building. On this particular day we managed to use all of his legos in one spectacular building.

More Hair (Or Less, Actually)

We went to Carnival Cuts today. Nick has never had his hair cut, other than a little trim here and there at home. At first he was intrigued by the firetruck and the Dora the Explorer video.

But the minute the hairstylest touched him, it all went south. He pretty much clung to me the whole time.
Okay, so maybe it wasn't the best haircut he'll ever have, but we got out of there with no blood and a lot less hair. Doesn't he look like a big boy with his short hair?
