Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
O, no! It is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken..." William Shakespere
Nick went to Giggle Beans to celebrate his birthday. He got to play with all sorts of wonderful stuff. He loved the train that went around the track all by itself. He liked the car table. He loved the pizza, especially the cheese! He got some presents, too! He was very interested in the Backyardigan wrapping paper! But Nicholas himself was the best present of all!!
Due to the downturn in the economy, Tim and I have been looking for creative and affordable ways to provide playthings for Nick. As it turns out, all you need to entertain a 1 year old for hours is an empty Cheez-It box!
Nicholas loves to eat and drink from his cup. However, despite his love of food, he is still a little bitty thing. He doesn't even weigh 19 pounds yet!
Can you believe my baby boy is One?! How quickly this year has flown by! He is such a big boy now - trying to take his first steps, chatting, getting into everything he can reach, (he especially likes the dirt in the houseplants) and in general, turning into a toddler instead of a baby. It has been the best year ever!
Nick had a birthday banana muffin to celebrate. He loved it - it was almost as big as he is!
My friend Angela had a new little baby boy on February 12th. He was a few weeks early, but he is completely perfect, as you can see from this precious picture! He looks so little next to my big boy!!
Nicholas is shown here with his favorite toy - the remote. Just like a real man! Can you believe he's eleven months old? I can't Did you just take my picture?!
