Chuck E. Cheese

We went to Chuck E. Cheese on Nick's birthday. Nick had a ball playing games with Tim. Nathan had a little fun, too.

Nick turned out to be terrified of Chuck E. Cheese. When he first came out to see him, Nick went tearing toward the exit yelling "No! No!" He ducked right under the security cords and everything. We tried coaxing him to get his picture taken with him, but he wasn't having it. When we tried it with Tim holding him, he leaned as far away from Chuck as he could. He is a little scary looking. Would you want to cozy up to a 6 foot tall rodent?

Cousins

We celebrated Jennifer's 40th birthday last weekend. The cousins had a ball running around together. Maddy was the social organizer. She kept telling Andrew to hold her hand.

Three

My little boy is three today. He has changed my life more than anything else in my 38 years. He's taught me patience and the ability to slow down and enjoy the small wonders in life. He's taught me to value relationships more than anything else. He's shown me how to love another person on a whole new dimension. He makes me want to be a better person every day. Thanks, Nicky, for three wonderful years!
